Quick Facts * Location: 919 East 32nd Street, Austin, TX 78705 * Start Date: 12/31/2025 * Duration: Ongoing / As Needed * Shift: Day/Night shifts available, 12-hour shifts * Hours/Week: 36-40 hours/week * Employment Type: Locum / Contract * Licensure/Certs: Medical license in Texas required; Board Certification in OB/GYN or Familiarity with OB Hospitalist work preferred * Experience: At least 2 years of OB hospitalist or inpatient OB experience preferred Pay & Benefits * Hourly Pay Rate: $195.00/hour * Pay package discussed upon application * Weekly pay via direct deposit * Medical benefits (W-2), paid sick leave, licensure, certification, travel reimbursements, and other reimbursements where applicable * Robust referral bonus program * 24/7 dedicated team supporting your success throughout your assignment What You’ll Do * Provide inpatient OB care, including managing labor, delivery, and postpartum * Collaborate with hospital staff and specialists to ensure patient safety and quality care * Perform emergency procedures as needed in OB emergencies * Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records * Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain compliance with all safety standards * Support ongoing patient management and discharge planning What You Need * Valid medical license in Texas * At least 2 years of OB hospitalist or inpatient OB experience * Strong clinical and communication skills * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment * Certifications: BLS, NRP, and other relevant certifications About the Assignment This position is with a leading facility in Austin, TX, dedicated to providing outstanding OB inpatient care.
