VHS is seeking a BC/BE IM/FM Physician to join the team at the Arizona Department of Corrections in Phoenix, AZ.

Description:

• Provide direct and indirect medical care to meet the healthcare needs of the patients within the facility
• Formulate a working diagnosis, develop, and implement a treatment plan, and evaluate/modify therapeutic regimens
• Evaluate patients who have returned from off-site treatment
• Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies throughout the facility
• Coordinate, lead and participate in educational and training activities related to medical care for patients

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is required
• BLS, ACLS
• Currently accepting any state license but must be willing to obtain AZ license
• AZ state background check, fingerprint clearance
• Drug Screen

Compensation Package:

Independent Contractor status $160 per hour
