Physician (MD/DO) - Family Practice in Massachusetts - A family practice or internal medicine position is newly available at an FQHC in central Massachusetts. This is an outpatient position with infrequent phone call. Your role will also be helping to build the OB program by doing prenatal and postnatal care. OB deliveries are optional. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm, that includes a 1/2 day or more of administrative time depending on how many teams you might be leading. There is an opportunity to precept PAs and NPs from local colleges and receive a stipend. There are currently 2 IMs, 3 pediatricians, and 15 APPs. The ideal candidate will be a mission-driven IM or FP who is service oriented, someone who is flexible, and someone who is team oriented, as the physicians work with several support teams. English and Arabic, Russian, Spanish, or Vietnamese-speaking would be a big plus. This employed position offers a competitive salary.
