Locum Physician Assistant (PA) - Pathology in New York - A facility an hour outside of Albany, NY is looking for a locum tenens Pathology Assistant to assist with a maternity leave starting on May 20th. Candidates must be ASCP certified to apply. Credentialing will take approximately 30 days. The facility is located an hour outside of Albany, NY. Cases are small biopsies, benign uteri, colon resections benign and malignant, placentas, toes, breast lumpectomies and mastectomy specimens, oriented skin resections, gallbladders, appendices as well as fresh needle core biopsies for lymphoma workup (need to do touch prep and submit for flow cytometry). Grossing is required. Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Pathology in Queens, NY - A facility in Queens, NY is looking for a locum tenens Pathologist to assist with coverage FT until a permanent provider is hired. Candidates must be Board Certified and hold an active NY license to apply. Credentialing will take approximately 60-90 days. While in Queens, New York take a look at the multiculturalism throughout the borough. Check out the many greek restaurants and parks in the city! There are routine cases. We have few biopsies unlike other hospitals. Frozen sections are required. The support staff consists of PAs, histology, and lab aids.
