Obstetrics and Gynecology Locum Tenens Jobs in Louisiana

Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Obstetrics and Gynecology - $160 to $180 per year in Lake Charles, LA - A well-established healthcare system in southern Louisiana is seeking a qualified OB/GYN physician for locum tenens coverage starting in mid-June.   Qualifications: * Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology * Active Louisiana medical license * DEA certification required   Cases & Procedures:  * Deliver comprehensive obstetrical care, including routine and a very limited number of high-risk pregnancies  * Perform labor & deliveries, C-sections, and a variety of in-office gynecological procedures * Emergency privileges are available    Schedule: * Sporadic coverage for vacation and other coverage needs * Night in-house call (5 pm-6 am) or 24-hour in-house call (sleep time provided) * Mix of inpatient and outpatient care   Practice Setting: * Join a 54-bed women's facility within an elite group of health systems  * Collaborate with skilled professionals including neonatologists, anesthesiologists, nurse practitioners, and medical assistants * Paragon EMR system utilized    Location: * Just a two-hour drive east, Houston, Texas, beckons with its booming economy, world-class museums, and exciting cultural scene * Head two hours east to Lafayette, the heart of Cajun culture.
