Level IV 56 bed NICU with very high acuity. APP’s work in collaboration with the MD’s but it is the APP that oversees the daily care of the babies as a provider. We need nights and weekend shifts. Weekdays Monday – Friday: Evening/Night shift is 4p-8a Weekends Saturday – Evening/Nights 7p-7a We can also accommodate a 24 hour shift any day of the week. During evenings/nights and weekends there can 2-3 APP’s on shift. Orientation: 3 full day shifts during the weekday, 2 evening/night shifts and 2 weekend shifts. They will get their picture ID, have their Cerner set up, get access to our scrub machine. During this time, they will be paired with a PSH APP to shadow and orient with. We need APP’s that can do ground and air transport. They will need to go through our orientation for transport. This is 2 one-hour online training courses that should be completed before their first day and a 45 min in person training at our life lion hanger. The in-person training will be scheduled once they arrive. We also ask them to do a 4 hour and 45 min online EMR training before their first day.
