QUICK FACTS * Location: 101 East Wood Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303 * Start Date: 05/15/2026 * Duration: Permanent, full-time position * Shift: Flexible schedule with rotating service coverage, including every-other-night call * Hours/week: 40+ hours; clinical schedule aligned with hospital needs * Employment Type: Full-time, salaried * License/Certs: Board eligible/certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine; residency within immediate local area required * Experience: Completion of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship preferred PAY & BENEFITS * Pay rate: $1.00 per hour (note: pay to be discussed at interview; competitive salary based on experience and training) * Sign-on bonus: Available * Relocation assistance: Yes * Medical, dental, vision insurance: Comprehensive coverage * Life and disability insurance: Provided * Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Dependent Care FSA, HSA: Available * Retirement plan: 401(k) plan with company matching * Stock Purchase Program: Opportunities available * Additional benefits: Voluntary plans, employer-paid benefits, wellness programs, and more WHAT YOU'LL DO * Lead and deliver comprehensive care in a 35-bed Level III NICU * Manage a high-acuity neonatal patient population averaging 25-29 infants daily * Support approximately 370-400 NICU admissions and 3,400-3,900 deliveries annually * Perform advanced neonatal interventions such as high-frequency ventilation and therapeutic hypothermia * Participate in well-baby rounds twice a month in collaboration with Family Medicine residents * Work alongside a team of four Neonatologists with rotating service coverage * Collaborate with 24/7 Neonatal Nurse Practitioner staff for continuous patient care * Engage with strong subspecialty teams including Pediatric Cardiology, Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine * Assume a leadership role within a collaborative, academic-supported clinical environment * Provide family-centered neonatal care aligned with community healthcare goals * Participate actively in a regional referral center with a focus on clinical excellence and professional growth WHAT YOU NEED Required: * Medical license in South Carolina or eligible for licensure * Board certification or eligibility in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine * Residency within the immediate local area Preferred: * Prior experience in a Level III NICU setting * Strong leadership and teamwork skills * Ability to work flexible hours and rotating schedules ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT Join a leading facility in Spartanburg, SC, that offers a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment dedicated to excellence in neonatal care.
