Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Family Practice in Houston, TX - Two FQHCs in Houston need Full Time locums family med support, as early as March 2nd!   Practice Setting: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving a culturally diverse community. Team-based outpatient primary care environment.   Scope of Practice: • Full-spectrum outpatient primary care •  Must see both pediatric and adult patients • Management of acute, chronic, and complex conditions • Preventive care and immunizations • Uncomplicated prenatal care • Minor in-office procedures (EKGs, injections, venipuncture, screenings, etc.) • Patient education and care coordination • EMR documentation completed within 48 hours • Participation in quality improvement initiatives     FM MD/DO- 90% of patients are age 6-12   Start:  ASAP-March 2nd , if possible!   NORTH HOUSTON- Schedule: * Mon–Tue 8a–5p * Wed 11a–7p (flexible if needed) * Thu–Fri 8a–5p * 1:6 Saturdays (locums are not required at this time but please ask if they are open) * Occasional late days and Saturday rotation   WEST HOUSTON- Schedule: * Monday–Friday 8a-5p * 1:6 Saturdays - (locums are not required at this time but please ask if they are open) * Occasional late days and Saturday rotation     Volume:  16–18 patients per day   Travel: Local candidates only

Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Hematology and Oncology in Hawaii -         Schedule   Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day. No overtime, no call, no consults.   Setting   Outpatient cancer center / infusion. 6 chairs today, expanding to 12.  Duration   Long-term locum; physicians here typically stay 1–3 years . Immediate start needed (pending contracting).      Credentialing   Hawaii “island time”: plan 2.5–3 weeks (vs. 3–4 days mainland)        * The permanent seat has gone unfilled for 2.5+ years — no candidate willing to relocate to the island — so this is a sustained, recurring locum need with patients currently waiting for care. * Strong, experienced nursing support on site (several nurses with 20+ years at the clinic). The role is well-supported and stable rather than high-acuity. Responsibilities * Oversee and manage outpatient chemotherapy / infusion treatments. * Provide consistent physician presence through the middle of patients’ treatment plans — continuity of care matters here. * Work alongside the established nursing team in a structured outpatient day. Ideal Candidate — Screening & Fit (read before sourcing) * Temperament is the make-or-break screen. This is an outpatient infusion setting, not level-one trauma. Past placements who came from high-acuity / trauma backgrounds have struggled. Screen for physicians who are comfortable sitting with patients, listening, and providing a calm, reassuring presence. * Oncologists are often not motivated by rate — they tend to be loyal to an existing patient panel and reluctant to leave. Prioritize candidates who are between practices, semi-retired, adventure/locale-motivated, or genuinely open to island relocation. * Confirm willingness to relocate to a remote part of the island and live there for multi-week rotations — set this expectation early to avoid late-stage fallout. Requirements * Board-certified / board-eligible Hematology-Oncology (MD/DO). * Active Hawaii license, or willing to obtain (factor licensing + island-time credentialing into start timeline). * Clean background; comfortable with outpatient infusion oncology.
