- Closed ICU; 16 shifts per month
- 11-hour shifts instead of 12-hour shifts; Usually 4 or 5 days of rounding with 4 days off
- See 13 - 15 patients per day; Handful of admitting shifts throughout the month
- Academic affiliation
- 40 hours of CME time with annual $3k stipend
