Position: Cardiothoracic Surgeon
Location: Nevada
Start Date: ASAP

Schedule:

Onsite Coverage: Tuesday and Thursday (8 hours each day)
On Call Coverage: Tuesday evening, ALL DAY Wednesday, and Thursday evening

Responsibilities:

Provide onsite coverage on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Participate in on-call duties, including Tuesday evening, ALL DAY Wednesday, and Thursday evening.
Willingness to proctor and mentor newer physicians.
Average Call-back- 1 out of every 10-shifts

Type of Procedures:

Aortic Valve Surgery, Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Complex Reoperations, etc. 
Structural Heart back up: watchman's, TAVR, mitral clip, PFO closure, emergent back up, CABG, surgical consult & surgery if appropriate.
