- 8-10 Emergent Surgeries per year
- 0-2 ED Consults/day
• % of Practice: 100% Pediatrics
• Rounding included: Yes; admitted patients and weekend surgical consults as needed
• Physician in Practice: 1
• Support Staff: 1 Mid Level, RN, LPN, Office Staff
• Procedures: Appendectomy, Biopsy, Pyloric Stenosis, Hernia repair, Cholecystectomy, I&D, Device implants (gtube, VAD, etc), Tracheotomy, Exploratory lap, Bowel restrictions, and Nissen Fundoplication
• Duties:
- Collaborating with other pediatric providers to diagnosis and determine if surgery is necessary.
- Managing and performing preoperative, operative, and postoperative care.
