Job Information:
Are you a skilled and dedicated Gastroenterologist ready to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives? We are seeking a motivated and compassionate physician to join our team and provide exceptional care for acute and chronic GI conditions. The role includes new patient access, endoscopies, hospital consults, patient admits, and rounding.

Position Highlights:

• Typical Week: Work 2 full days per week in the office (8 AM - 5 PM), 2 ½ days in surgery, and a flexible ½ day.
• Average Clinic Patients Per Day: 20
• Typical Call Shift: Most call shifts involve phone consults and cases scheduled for the operating room the following day.

Shift/Schedule Information:

• Weekday Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (clinic and surgery days)
• Weeknight Pager Call: 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM
• Weekend Call: Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 8:00 AM

Candidate Requirements:

We are looking for a qualified Gastroenterologist with a passion for delivering comprehensive care. The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Active IL License: Hold an active medical license in the state of Illinois.
• DEA Registration: Possess a valid DEA registration.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Be Board Certified or Board Eligible within 12 months of completing residency training.
• Procedural Expertise: Proficiency in general GI procedures, including acute and chronic GI condition management, new patient access, endoscopies, and hospital consults.
• Required Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
• EMR Familiarity: Experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
