• BC/BE Internal Medicine
• 7 on/7 off 7 AM-7 PM ( or 7 PM-7 AM for Nocturnist)
• Every 6-8 weeks work 1 week of nights 
• 15 shifts per month ( option to pick up more)
• 15-20 pts per day
• Average of 6-10 admissions for day shift (and night shift)
• When working nights. primary responsibility is admissions with some cross coverage for the floors
• Must be comfortable with open ICU
• Pulm/ CC support is available 
• Procedures are highly preferred but not required
• APC's do the majority or procedures
• Procedures performed are arterial/ Central lines and dialysis catheters (ER will intubate)
• Allscripts EMR
• Run codes on your own patients
