Locum Physician Assistant (PA) - General Surgery - $85 to $115 per hour in Texas - CompHealth is currently assisting a facility in Texas that is in need of a Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery PA to help with temporary coverage. Assignment schedule is TBD. Assignment requirements 1st assisting experience for cardiac cases. Must have experience with saphenous vein EVH using Maquet Hemopro 2 or Vasoview 6 pro systems. Must be Board Certified, have current DEA, and TX state license. OR/rounding. Shifts will be full time hours; Monday-Friday with weekend/week night call at a 1:3 ratio. Will see 4-6 OR cases daily, 2-8 for rounding per day.Vein harvesting - both endoscopic and radial, chest tubes, blake drains. Support staff includes 4 surgeons.
