The provider will deliver ER call coverage and be available for both interventional and primary cardiology calls during the assignment period. This is a 24/7 interventional cardiology call role with high-acuity patient care responsibilities. Assignment Dates & Schedule * Call Type: ER coverage and interventional/primary cardiology call * Call Coverage: 24/7 during the assignment period * Daily Patient Volume: ~12 patients Clinical Responsibilities * Provide ER coverage for acute cardiology cases * Respond to interventional and primary cardiology calls * Perform and interpret echocardiograms, including transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) * Manage acute cardiac emergencies and interventions * Collaborate with the hospital cardiology team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Required Skills & Certifications * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology * Expertise in Interventional Cardiology * Competency in echocardiography, including TEE * Active Utah medical license Ogden offers a mix of small-town charm and outdoor adventure, with easy access to the Wasatch Mountains and numerous recreation opportunities. Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Cardiology - General/Other in Pomona, NJ - We are seeking a Board-Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Pomona, New Jersey. This position offers a combination of inpatient coverage and weekend call responsibilities while working with an established cardiovascular team serving an adult and geriatric patient population. Compensation: $2700 Per Day Position Details * Start: July and ongoing * Assignment Schedule: 1–2 weeks per month * Daily Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM * Practice Setting: Inpatient and Call Coverage * Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric * Average Patient Volume: Approximately 20 patients per day * Trauma Designation: Level II * EMR: Oracle/Cerner Call Responsibilities * Weekend call coverage required * Minimum of 2 weekends per month * Weekend call rotation of approximately 2:4 * Call weekends do not need to be consecutive Clinical Responsibilities * Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions * Perform inpatient cardiology consultations and follow-up care * Interpret and perform non-invasive cardiac diagnostic studies * Collaborate with hospitalists, primary care providers, and specialists to coordinate patient care * Provide weekend call coverage and address urgent cardiac concerns as needed * Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record Required Procedures * Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE) * Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) * Electrocardiogram (EKG) interpretation * Treadmill Stress Testing * Cardiac imaging interpretation and consultation Qualifications * Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease (Cardiology) * Active New Jersey medical license * Current BLS certification (AHA) * Current ACLS certification (AHA) * Experience in inpatient non-invasive cardiology preferred * Strong proficiency in echocardiography, TEE, stress testing, and EKG interpretation
