Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Cardiac Electrophysiology in Iowa - A large multi-specialty hospital is seeking a cardiac electrophysiologist for locum tenens coverage. While in central Iowa, make a trip to Reiman Gardens or Blank Park Zoo during your off time! There will be OP clinic, EP lab in the cath, and IP consults/rounding. The clinician will be there to help with general cardiology call 1-2 times per week with backup. Weekend call is negotiable. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with occasional add-on cases. Three days in the Cath Lab (two general anesthesia; one non-general anesthesia) and two clinic days. Clinic team includes two device technicians in addition to an RN, an MA, a procedure scheduler and a clinic scheduler. Clinic is located across the street from the hospital.
