Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Urology in New York - * Schedule & Hours: Standard day shift, Monday to Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM). The outpatient clinic is open Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM. * Practice Setting: Primarily an outpatient clinic setting (equipped with 4 exam rooms) with inpatient consults, surgical procedures, and post-op rounding as needed. * Call Coverage: Optional and highly flexible. 24-hour call shifts run from 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM; the facility will customize the call schedule based on how many days you are willing to cover per month. * Patient Load & Population: Averages approximately 20 patients per day. Adult patient population only (Ages 18+). * Clinical Scope: Focus on standard "Bread and Butter" urological cases and procedures. Note: Located at a Level III Trauma Center. Operating Room (OR) blocks run from 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM with no case limits. Robotic surgery is typically limited or unavailable on urology days. * Support Staff: You will work alongside a collaborative team consisting of 1 full-time provider, 2 LPNs, 2 CNAs/CMAs, and a Patient Representative. * Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Fully integrated utilizing Epic charting software.
