Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Surgery - Trauma in Minneapolis, MN - Our client in Minnesota is seeking a skilled Trauma Surgery Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day assignment beginning May 4, 2026. This role involves 10-hour shifts from 7a-5p, focusing on comprehensive patient management including vent management, chest tube and line insertions, suturing minor lacerations, responding to trauma alerts, facilitating discharges, ER admissions, and daily rounding for all patient conditions without hospitalist support. Responsibilities and Duties * Non-Invasive Vent Management (bipap/cpap) * Ventilation Management * Chest Tube Insertion * Central Line * Arterial Line * Suturing Minor Lacerations * Responding to the ED for Trauma Alerts * Facilitating Discharges * ER Admissions * Daily rounding and management of all conditions - we do not use hospitalists. * Fully able to be attending on all patient conditions Additional Information * EMR: Epic Benefits * Strong compensation * Travel-related expenses covered * A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided * Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
