Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Trauma Surgery in Michigan - A Mid Sized Hospital is seeking a Trauma Surgeon for locum tenens coverage. There are many places to visit while on assignment in Central Michigan! Take a trip to Belle Isle Park, Mackinac Island, or the Detroit Zoo! The position involves weekend call coverage only, handling Trauma and General Surgery calls as well as Trauma/Acute Care Surgery Service patients. Duties include rounding on all admitted patients for these services from approximately 9 am to 12 pm on Saturdays and Sundays, with a patient census ranging from 15 to 20. The role requires responding to all Code 1 Trauma activations within 15 minutes at a Level II trauma center.
