Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Rheumatology in Oklahoma - A well-established, patient-centered healthcare organization in Edmond, Oklahoma, is seeking a compassionate and motivated Rheumatology Nurse Practitioner to join its growing team. This position offers the opportunity to provide specialized care for patients with rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions in a collaborative outpatient setting focused on high-quality, evidence-based medicine. Position Summary * Full-time, on-site position * Monday through Friday schedule * Approximately 20 patients per day. Key Responsibilities * Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations. * Diagnose and manage rheumatologic and autoimmune diseases in collaboration with supervising physicians and care team members. * Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory and diagnostic test results. * Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans. * Prescribe and manage medications, including monitoring efficacy and side effects. * Conduct follow-up visits and assess disease activity and treatment response. * Document patient encounters accurately and timely within the electronic health record (EHR). * Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists, primary care providers, and ancillary healthcare professionals. Qualifications * Current Nurse Practitioner license and national certification (FNP, AGNP, or equivalent). * Eligibility for licensure and practice in the state of Oklahoma. * Clinical experience in rheumatology, internal medicine, family medicine, or primary care. * Strong skills in patient assessment, diagnostic reasoning, medication management, and treatment planning.
