Physician (MD/DO) - Oncology - Radiation in Ohio - A  Radiation Oncology Medical Physicist is needed for a part-time opportunity in Findlay, OH . This role focuses on delivering precise, high-quality radiation therapy services while maintaining excellence in safety, compliance, and quality assurance. The physicist will utilize advanced physics principles to develop individualized treatment plans, ensure accurate dose delivery, and maintain equipment performance and safety standards. This role involves close collaboration with Radiation Oncologists, Dosimetrists, and Therapists to ensure optimal patient outcomes. SCHEDULE * Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm clinic hours * On-site 2 days per week (when full-time physicist is remote) * Additional half-day remote coverage if needed (up to 20 hours/week) * Coverage for vacation and sick leave as required KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Maintain and execute the Radiation Oncology Quality Assurance and Safety Program * Perform daily, monthly, and annual QA testing on linear accelerators, CT simulators, and treatment planning systems * Oversee and maintain QA equipment, calibrations, and preventative maintenance * Coordinate coverage schedules and provide emergency consultation when necessary * Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations * Collaborate on treatment planning, dose calculations, and plan reviews * Oversee dosimetry functions and perform plan QA, including IMRT quality assurance * Present at machine for HyperArc, SBRT, SRS, SRT, and other high-dose treatments * Commission and maintain stereotactic and HyperArc machine models * Maintain and oversee software systems including treatment planning and QA platforms * Participate in weekly chart rounds and patient chart reviews * Support RTOG protocol participation and credentialing * Serve as radiation safety contact during regulatory surveys * Provide education and guidance to clinical staff on radiation safety and quality improvement initiatives
