Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Podiatry - Surgery in Burnsville, MN - POSITION DESCRIPTION * We are seeking an experienced Surgical Podiatrist for a locum tenens opportunity providing inpatient and outpatient coverage in Burnsville and Edina, Minnesota . This role is primarily hospital-based , focusing on consults, emergent and urgent surgical cases, post-operative rounding, and wound care management. Limited outpatient responsibilities include one post-operative clinic per week. The provider will review daily consults to determine hospital coverage location and may occasionally start the day at a specific hospital for post-operative follow-ups. This opportunity offers a weekday schedule, no weekend call , and a collaborative, well-supported clinical environment. Practice Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient EMR: Epic Assignment Length: 13–16 weeks (starting May 2026) FTE: 0.9 FTE (36 hours/week) + call Schedule: * Monday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM * Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM * Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM _(half clinic / half hospital)_ * Thursday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM * Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM * One weekday night call per week (Monday–Thursday) * No weekend call
