Locum Physician Assistant (PA) - Pediatrics - Critical Care in Pennsylvania - We are seeking a Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Physician Assistant for a 40-day assignment in PA, starting Oct 5, 2026. This role involves 12-hour shifts (AM or PM) within a Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, where you will manage 4-8 patients and perform procedures such as arterial, central venous, and chest tube placement, endotracheal intubation, and lumbar punctures. Our client is looking for a professional who is acute care certified to provide high-quality patient care in a busy unit. Responsibilities and Duties * Provide care within a Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PCICU). * Work 12-hour shifts, with both AM and PM availability. * Manage a patient load of 4-8 patients per advanced practice provider (APP). * Perform procedures including arterial, central venous, and chest tube placement, endotracheal intubation, and lumbar punctures. * Collaborate with a team of 4 APPs during day shifts and 3 APPs during night shifts in a PCICU. Additional Information * Required Board Certifications: Acute Care Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-AC). * EMR: Epic.
