This is an ongoing locum tenens opportunity offering a collaborative environment, dedicated pediatric support teams, and exposure to complex congenital cardiac cases. Overview * Seeking providers available for 2–3 weeks per month * Preference for 5–7 day coverage blocks * Full-time or part-time schedules available * Weekday coverage: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM * Cases may extend to approximately 5:00 PM based on volume * Weeknight call required * Weekend 24-hour call coverage * Providers should be comfortable with the full scope of pediatric anesthesiology Case Mix Providers should be comfortable with the full scope of pediatric anesthesiology, including: * Pediatric general anesthesia * Pediatric cardiac anesthesia * Congenital heart surgery * Cardiopulmonary bypass ("pump") cases * Cardiac catheterization procedures * Additional pediatric surgical and procedural anesthesia cases The program performs approximately 125 congenital heart index cases annually. Priority will be given to pediatric cardiac anesthesia coverage in the operating room and catheterization lab. Requirements * Board Certified MD or DO * Minimum 1 year of experience * Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship required * Experience with pediatric cardiac anesthesia required * ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications * DEA required * Illinois CSR required
