Locum Physician Assistant (PA) - Pediatrics - General/Other in Rochester, NY - Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Physician Assistant Location: New York Schedule: Approximately 39 hours per week, rotating day and night 13 hour shifts, with on call and callback as outlined in the order details Openings: 1 Position Overview Provide advanced practice coverage in a pediatric cardiac critical care unit. The APP functions as a primary covering provider and should be comfortable managing high acuity congenital cardiac patients in a multidisciplinary ICU environment. Clinical Scope * High acuity pediatric cardiac ICU coverage including pre and post operative cardiac surgical patients * Care may include management of single ventricle physiology, open chest management, arrhythmias, vasopressors, pacemakers, VA and VV ECMO, and CRRT as outlined in the order details * Procedural knowledge is essential, though the role is not primarily procedural * Unit may occasionally support adult congenital heart disease patients and other critical care boarders as outlined in the order details Required Qualifications * Physician Assistant * Graduate of an ARC PA approved Physician Assistant program * Active New York State PA license in good standing * Current national certification as a Physician Assistant * Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric cardiac ICU experience as an APP * BLS and PALS Preferred Qualifications * Pediatric Acute Care Physician Assistant certification Credentialing * Credentialing timelines vary by facility as outlined in the order details Travel and Lodging * Travel is supported as outlined in the order details Benefits * Malpractice insurance coverage * Weekly electronic pay * Refer & earn program: Earn $2,000 per referral. Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Pediatrics - General/Other in Northwestern Mississippi, MS - Pediatric Hospitalist Location: Mississippi Schedule: Full time coverage with a mix of day and night shifts as scheduled by the site. Openings: 2 Position Overview * Provide pediatric hospitalist coverage in an inpatient setting. * Patient mix referenced includes newborns through age 18. * Responsibilities include admissions, rounding, discharges, and inpatient consultations as needed. * Newborn nursery and inpatient coverage are included based on site needs. * Charting system: Epic. Required Qualifications * MD or DO. * Residency trained in Pediatrics. * Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics as accepted by the site. * Active Mississippi medical license. * DEA with Mississippi address and required schedules. * PALS and NRP as required by the site. * References may be required per site policy. * Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
