About the Clinician's Workday The cytopathologist will provide on-site, day-shift coverage at a clinic setting, reviewing an average of 24 cases per day consisting of body fluids, fine needle aspirates (FNA), and gynecologic specimens. Procedures (approximately 5-6 per day) are performed by laboratory technicians, and grossing is not required for this role. No call or weekend coverage is associated with this position. Board certification in Cytopathology is required; candidates who are not board-certified in the subspecialty will not be considered.
