Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Pathology in Mississippi - A large multi-specialty hospital is seeking a pathologist for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in Mississippi. The caseload consists of around 60-100 cases per day, covering a variety of specimens such as biopsies, complex cancer resections, and cytology, including non-gyn, gyn, and FNAs. The cases include GI, GYN, skin, lung, and bladder biopsies, among others, as well as large cancer resections and neuropathology. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with no grossing required as it will be handled by PAs. Cytology quick stains will be assessed, and about 100 frozen sections are performed monthly.
