Physician (MD/DO) - Ophthalmology - $500,000 to $1,200,000 per year in Saginaw, MI - Retina Specialist Opportunity in Saginaw, Michigan High Surgical Volume | Partnership Track Join a well-established, physician-owned ophthalmology group with decades of regional presence and a strong referral network. This is a true surgical retina opportunity with immediate volume, advanced resources, and a clear path to long-term ownership. Practice Overview: - Team of 7 ophthalmologists and 2 optometrists in a multispecialty eye group - 100% retina-focused role in a practice with high surgical volume and zero ramp-up - Dedicated support staff including 3 techs, a scribe, and injection/scheduling assistants - On-site ASC with 2 ophthalmic ORs and additional hospital OR time available Schedule: - 5-day preferred workweek; 4-4.5 days also considered - 1:7 practice call rotation with tech triage and minimal hospital call (2 weeks/year) - Clinic volumes range from 50-100 patients/day depending on preference and support - Surgical block time available multiple days/week with case flexibility Compensation & Benefits: - $425,000 base salary with production bonus (30% of collections over 3.5x base) - $25,000 sign-on bonus and up to $25,000/year fellowship stipend - $10,000 relocation allowance, more for long-distance moves - Full benefits including 6 weeks paid time off, 401k with match, CME allowance, malpractice, and health/life/disability coverage - Partnership track in 3 years with access to ASC ownership and real estate equity, clinical income potential of $1M+ Candidate Requirements: - Fellowship-trained in surgical retina; medical retina considered but not preferred - Open to 2026 fellows through 25 years' experience - Must be high-volume ready and efficient with strong team focus - No visa sponsorship available Community & Location Highlights: - Located in Saginaw, the heart of Michigan's Great Lakes Bay Region - Affordable cost of living with access to lakes, boating, hunting, and skiing - Family-friendly suburban and rural living options - 90 minutes to Detroit and Ann Arbor with access to a regional airport Contact us to see how this opportunity can help you build a rewarding practice with a balanced life.
