HEALTHCARE JOB DETAILS * Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,280-$3,890 * Job Setting: Outpatient oncology clinic * Start Date: ASAP * Assignment Length: 23 weeks with option to extend * Schedule: 4 shifts per week * Shift Duration: 10-hour days * Hours: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM * Call: No call * Patient Volume: Approximately 20 patients per day * EMR: Epic NURSE PRACTITIONER JOB REQUIREMENTS * Minimum of 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience required * Oncology experience preferred in an outpatient or clinic-based setting * Board Certified Nurse Practitioner * Active Oregon and Washington NP licensure, or ability to obtain * Active Oregon and Washington DEA, or ability to obtain * Vaccination required with booster * Strong clinical skills with follow-up and ongoing treatment patient care * Ability to collaborate effectively with medical assistants, case management, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members ONCOLOGY NURSE PRACTITIONER RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide follow-up care for oncology patients at 3-, 6-, and 12-month intervals * Manage ongoing treatment patients based on clinical experience and department needs * Order oncology-related tests, labs, and diagnostic studies * Refill prescriptions and support medication management * Coordinate care with ancillary services and interdisciplinary team members * Manage basket work, including emails, follow-ups, and patient communication * Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Epic * Support high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative outpatient oncology practice Apply now to join this oncology healthcare opportunity in the Portland area and make a meaningful impact in patient care.
