Occupational Medicine Physician - Summary: Assume full accountability for meticulously assessing patient needs and offering comprehensive treatments, all while prioritizing an exceptional and reassuring experience.    As a medical professional, your responsibilities encompass a range of tasks. These are to include diagnosing and providing treatment for injuries that occur in the workplace, conducting physical examinations for pre-placement, Department of Transportation (DOT), public safety, and surveillance purposes on behalf of private companies and government agencies.   Additionally, you will evaluate and treat urgent care patients on a walk-in basis. You may also take on the role of overseeing, collaborating with, and supervising advanced practice providers within the clinic setting. In addition, you'll perform various in-office procedures, maintain communication with employers, and offer medical guidance as needed. Schedule: • Monday-Friday, 8a-5p • Start as soon as credentialed (approx. 2 weeks from acceptance) • No nights, no weekends, no holidays Practice Setting: • Outpatient, all ages, 25-35 patients per day Cases and Procedures: • Work-related injuries, perform pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance physical examinations for varied private companies and governmental agencies. • Suturing, lacerations, derma bonds, in-grown toenail removal, injections, drug screen collections, DOT physicals and screenings.
