About the Clinician's Workday The clinician will provide full scope inpatient obstetric and gynecologic services through 12-hour call shifts, rotating between day and night coverage on a schedule of 3 to 4 shifts per week. Primary responsibilities include managing low and high risk obstetric cases, labor and delivery including routine, complicated, VBAC, and cesarean deliveries, as well as gynecologic procedures such as GYN surgery, office and minor procedures, and circumcisions. The clinician will perform ultrasounds and amniocentesis as indicated and will be expected to round on inpatient cases. Call coverage is required, and the position involves collaboration with a midwife and two second-year residents.
