Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Obstetrics and Gynecology in Missouri - A level II trauma facility that is a highly integrated, multi-state health care system including more than 50 acute care and specialty is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage. Southwestern Missouri must-see attractions include Silver Dollar City, Branson Landing, Table Rock Lake, and Titanic Museum! There will be 1 weekend per month to start. During the week, this will be 7PM to 7AM. On weekday mornings, the clinician will round on their own patients. Weekends can be 12-24 hour shifts, or longer if desired, the max will be Friday 5PM to Monday 7AM. On Sat and Sun AM, only the call physician rounds on all patients. There will be beeper/phone call, but the current laborist usually stays in-house at night, and there is a call room in the L&D area. This will also involve covering the ER and might result in an occasional D&C, management of ectopic, emergent GYN surgery, and GYN readmit, though this is not a frequent occurrence.
