Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Nurse Practitioner in Rhode Island - A national healthcare services organization is seeking Nurse Practitioners with a background in General Medicine to perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments for veterans. This role offers a flexible PRN schedule and an opportunity to support individuals who have served the nation. The provider will conduct non-treatment medical disability evaluations , which are primarily interview-based with limited physical assessments. This position does not involve prescribing medications or providing treatment , allowing clinicians to focus strictly on evaluations and documentation. Key Responsibilities: * Perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for veterans. * Conduct interview-based evaluations along with focused physical assessments. * Assess range of motion and muscle strength during examinations. * Document findings and complete required evaluation reports. * Provide occasional follow-up administrative documentation such as addendums or medical opinions when required. * Maintain accurate records using the designated documentation system. Current Opportunity: * Warwick, Rhode Island – coverage needed up to 5 days per week * Providers must operate from their own medical office within 50 miles of the location .
