Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Cardiology - Electrophysiology in Chambersburg, PA - DESCRIPTION We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with experience in cardiology, electrophysiology, and interventional cardiology for a full-time locum tenens assignment. This role supports a high-volume cardiac electrophysiology and interventional cardiology service with a focus on inpatient and outpatient patient care. The provider will manage a broad adult patient population and work closely with a single assigned clinical team in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. This is a Monday–Thursday schedule with flexible daytime hours and no call requirements. ABOUT THE FACILITY * Acute care hospital setting * Hospital bed size: 270 beds * Practice settings include academic/training, clinic/private practice, and hospital-based care * EMR system: Epic * Support structure: 1 assigned clinical team * Average patient volume: approximately 18 patients per day * Patient population: Adults aged 18–100 Clinical service line includes interventional cardiology and electrophysiology procedures such as: * Right and left heart catheterization (R/LHC) * Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) * Balloon angioplasty * Intra-aortic balloon pump support * Pacemaker implantation * ICD implantation (traditional and subcutaneous) * Loop recorder implantation and explantation * Ablation procedures including AVN, SVT, and atrial flutter Note: Advanced procedures are not performed by the APP but may be encountered in post-procedural patient care.
