Daily responsibilities include rounding on all floor-level cardiology patients, completing progress notes, event notes, admission H&Ps, consults, and discharges, and ordering medications, tests, and procedures as appropriate. The clinician will perform new consults alongside the attending physician with most patients located on step-down or cardiology units. Support is provided by Hospitalist Medicine and Cardiology services, with Pulmonary Critical Care and Cardiovascular Surgery available as needed.
