The schedule is 10-hour shifts. Requirements include KY license, DEA, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, and proficient in ER procedures. The EMR is EPIC. Travel and lodging is included. Cred time is 30 days. Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Internal Medicine in Richmond, KY - Travel to Kentucky (KY) on your next locum tenens job! Wellhart's client is looking to staff four (4) temporary home health nurse practitioners (NPs) starting in early January. Applicants must be comfortable providing care to patients 65+ in their homes. In order to provide continuity of care for patients, locums must be willing to commit to working 4-5 days/week, Mon-Fri or Mon-Thurs, covering 16 weeks. NPs will be providing in-home assessments including full health assessments (blood pressure checks, medication overview, and providing referrals for specialty care). EKG may be required and equipment will be provided. Charting must be completed the same day.
