Job Responsibilities : * Collaborate with the OBGYN medical team to provide comprehensive patient care in both the Labor & Delivery (L&D) and Pediatric Newborn Nursery settings. * Conduct patient assessments, examinations, and medical histories to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans. * Administer treatment, medications, and procedures as required, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Participate in the management of laboring patients, delivery of newborns, and postpartum care. * Provide guidance and education to patients and their families, addressing questions and concerns. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) using EPIC. Requirements : * Active Connecticut Advanced Practice License. * Board Certification (BC) in Obstetrics and Gynecology. * DEA/CSR certification. * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. * A minimum of 2 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology. * Prior experience in Pediatric Newborn Nursery care. * Proficiency in using EPIC EMR system.
