Minimum Education Requirements: * Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school. * Residency training program in anesthesiology accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the AOA. License & Certifications: * Board certification in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). * Active and unrestricted medical license in North Carolina. Experience: * While specific requirements may vary, most locum anesthesiologist positions prefer candidates with at least one year of experience providing anesthesia care in a clinical setting.
