General Job Responsibilities: * Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthesia management and postoperative pain management. * Collaborate with surgeons, surgical teams and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes. * Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic plans as needed. * Respond to emergencies and provide critical care interventions. * Maintain accurate and complete medical records. * Stay current on the latest advancements in anesthesia practice through continuing education. Skills: * Clinical expertise and technical proficiency in administering various anesthesia techniques. * Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.  * Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a surgical team. * Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing patient conditions.  * Strong work ethic, stamina and ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. Minimum Education Requirements: * Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited CRNA program. License & Certifications: * Active and unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in Florida. * National certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). Experience: * While specific requirements may vary, most locum CRNA positions prefer candidates with at least one year of experience in a clinical anesthesia setting.
