Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Emergency Medicine in Washington, DC - Emergency Medicine Physician Locums Opportunity Location: Washington, DC (Washington metro) Start: September 2026 (target) and ongoing Schedule: Day, swing, and night coverage for physicians. Specific shift times to be confirmed. Openings: 3 Travel and Lodging: Provided Position Overview This emergency department is seeking board certified or board eligible emergency medicine physicians and experienced advanced practice providers to support ongoing coverage needs. Physicians will provide emergency medicine coverage and supervise advanced practice providers as applicable. The emergency department includes separate pediatric coverage. Clinical Scope   * Emergency medicine coverage * Trauma level III environment * Adult and pediatric emergency department volumes supported by separate pediatric coverage team * Floor code response required for emergency medicine physicians   Required Qualifications   * Active DC medical license for physicians or DC license for advanced practice providers as applicable * Active DEA * DC controlled substance registration * Board certification or board eligibility in Emergency Medicine for physicians. Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Internal Medicine - General/Other in Washington, DC - Hospitalist Physician Locums Opportunity Location: Washington, DC (Washington metro) Start: September 1, 2026 and ongoing Schedule: Two physician day shifts 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. One physician night shift 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Block pattern to be confirmed. Openings: 3 Travel and Lodging: Provided Position Overview This acute care hospital is seeking hospital medicine physicians and nurse practitioners for a structured inpatient coverage model including rounding, admissions, and cross coverage. Physicians will supervise nurse practitioners as applicable. The intensive care unit is covered by board certified intensivists and is not part of the hospitalist scope. Clinical Scope   * Adult inpatient rounding and admissions * Night coverage for admissions and cross coverage * No procedures required   Required Qualifications   * Active DC license * Active DEA * DC controlled substance registration * Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine for physicians * Nurse practitioner licensure as applicable.
