Peery Highway, Richlands, VA 24641 * Start Date: 05/01/2026 * End Date/Duration: 13 Weeks * Shift: Mix of procedural days (Mon, Wed, 1/2 Thu, Fri) and outpatient days (Tues, 1/2 Thu), night call every night * Hours/Week: Based on scheduled shifts; overtime after 40 hours * Employment Type: Contract * License/Certs: Virginia medical license, board certification preferred * Experience: Relevant GI/specialty experience preferred PAY & BENEFITS * Hourly Rate: $1.00/hr (Note: confirm with client; rate appears placeholder) * Benefits: Competitive pay package, weekly pay through direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel, and reimbursement when applicable WHAT YOU’LL DO * Perform GI procedures in the Endoscopy Suite on scheduled days * Provide outpatient consults and patient management in the clinic setting * Rounding on hospital consults and managing overnight call duties * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care * Comply with all facility policies, documentation, and procedural standards * Participate in scheduled procedures and patient follow-ups WHAT YOU NEED * Active Virginia medical license * Board certification in Gastroenterology (preferred) * Experience performing endoscopy and outpatient GI care * Ability to work flexible hours, including night call * Strong clinical documentation skills ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a well-respected facility providing comprehensive GI services.
