Quick Facts: * Location: Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, 17 Belmont Avenue, Brattleboro, VT 05301 * Start Date: 08/15/2026 * End Date/Duration: Varies, starting in August 2026 * Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM or 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM (varies) * Hours/Week: Based on shift schedule * Employment Type: Locum/Contract * License/Certs: Board Certified in OB/GYN, VT license preferred or eligible * Experience: Prior OB/GYN practice experience required; surgical and obstetric procedures experience preferred Pay & Benefits: * Competitive pay packages discussed upon application * Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit * Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2 employment) * Robust referral bonus program * Paid sick time as per applicable laws * Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements where applicable What You’ll Do: * Provide comprehensive women’s health care within a supportive community setting * Manage both low- and high-risk pregnancies, including labor and delivery * Perform OB ultrasounds, level I screenings, and interpretation of FHR * Conduct GYN exams, surgeries (IUD, LEEP, colonoscopy, laparoscopic procedures), and minor gynecological procedures * Assist with routine and complicated deliveries, including VBACs and C-sections * Collaborate with CNMs, nurses, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes * Document patient encounters using Cerner EMR What You Need: * Board Certified in OB/GYN * Valid Vermont medical license or eligible for licensure * BLS, NRP certifications * Experience with OB ultrasounds, high- and low-risk obstetrics, and surgical gynecology * Ability to perform OB procedures including C-sections, breech deliveries, and laceration repairs * Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment: This position at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, community-focused environment that emphasizes quality patient care.
