Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Radiology - General/Other in Columbia, SC - We are seeking a Board Certified Radiologist to provide locum tenens coverage in Columbia, South Carolina. This role focuses heavily on direct patient care, with approximately 95% of time dedicated to clinical responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both general diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology procedures. Assignment Highlights: * Competitive hourly rate of $225 * High clinical focus with 95% direct patient care * Broad case mix across diagnostic and interventional radiology * Opportunity to work in a collaborative and well-supported clinical environment Key Responsibilities: * Deliver high-quality diagnostic and interventional radiology services across multiple imaging modalities * Interpret and perform imaging studies, including: * Diagnostic Radiology * Ultrasound * Computed Tomography (CT) * Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) * Nuclear Medicine * Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures * Provide timely and accurate image interpretations to support patient diagnosis and treatment * Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes * Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of all procedures and interpretations * Adhere to established clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Qualifications: * Board Certified in Radiology by the American Board of Radiology * South Carolina medical license preferred * Demonstrated proficiency in both diagnostic and interventional radiology * Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail * Excellent communication and collaboration skills #AAS
