This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a supportive rural healthcare system with an established referral base and a collaborative multidisciplinary team. Position Details * Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch) * Operating Room: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday * Clinic: Tuesday and Friday * Call: Shared call rotation with approximately 10 days of call per month Responsibilities * Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of general orthopedic conditions. * Perform a broad range of orthopedic surgical procedures. * Manage outpatient clinic visits, surgical cases, inpatient consultations, and follow-up care. * Participate in shared call coverage for orthopedic emergencies. * Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists to deliver high-quality patient care. Required Experience * Total joint replacement surgery, including hip, knee, and shoulder replacements (required) * Management of a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries and degenerative conditions * Comfortable caring for an aging patient population * Experience with common hand conditions, including trigger finger and carpal tunnel syndrome, is preferred * Experience evaluating and managing spine and back pain is highly preferred Qualifications * Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school * Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery * Active New Hampshire medical license or ability to obtain one quickly * Current American Heart Association BLS certification
