Quick Facts: * Location: 560 West Mitchell Street, Petoskey, MI 49770 * Start Date: 03/01/2026 * End Date: 02/28/2027 (or until further notice) * Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM; 24-hour weekend call (no weekday night call) * Hours per Week: Approximately 40 hours * Employment Type: Locum Tenens * License/Certifications: MI Medical License, Board Certified in Gastroenterology, ERCP Certified (REQUIRED) * Experience: 3+ years preferred Pay & Benefits: * Pay package discussed upon application * Weekly pay via direct deposit * Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) * Robust referral bonus program * Paid sick time * Travel, licensure, certification, and other reimbursable expenses * 24/7 dedicated support team What You’ll Do: * Provide outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology services at a hospital-based clinic setting * Conduct endoscopic procedures, including ERCP (REQUIRED) * Manage patient consultations and follow-ups within the scheduled hours * Support hospital staff with scopes and endoscopy coverage (~18 outpatient and 20 inpatient procedures daily) * Collaborate with onsite physicians, APPs, and support staff to ensure quality patient care * Use Cerner EMR system for documentation and reporting * Participate in weekend call coverage (24 hours, with 4 hours gratis) What You Need: * Active Michigan medical license and Board Certification in Gastroenterology * ERCP certification and 3+ years of clinical experience * Excellent procedural and patient management skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team About the Assignment: Join a top hospital in Petoskey, Michigan, providing essential gastroenterology services on a locum basis.
