Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Surgery - Cardiothoracic in Honolulu, HI - POSITION OVERVIEW A medical center in Honolulu is seeking a Thoracic Surgeon for a full-time locum opportunity offering a structured weekly schedule, dedicated OR time, and strong subspecialty support. * $3,600/day (~$450/hour equivalent) * Full-time schedule (no part-time availability) * Dedicated surgical block time plus add-on cases * Multispecialty support environment * Thoracic-only call coverage Cardiothoracic-trained physicians will be considered if actively performing thoracic cases. ASSIGNMENT HIGHLIGHTS * Full-time commitment required * Minimum 3-month assignment * 2 clinic days per week * 1 dedicated OR day per week plus urgent add-on cases * Shared call with cardiac surgery (thoracic coverage only) * Multispecialty support including pulmonology, oncology, general surgery, and CT surgery * HPA Healthcare is a Joint Commission–certified agency and active member of NALTO SCHEDULE & COVERAGE DETAILS * Clinic: 2 days per week * 40-minute consults * 20-minute follow-ups * Supported by PA and hospitalist teams * Surgery: 1 day per week * Blocked OR time * Additional urgent add-on cases * Call: * Shared with cardiac surgery colleagues * Thoracic surgery coverage only
