QUICK FACTS * Location: Georgetown, DE * Start Date: 04/28/2026 * Duration: Ongoing * Shift: Day shift, Monday–Friday, no call, 1 weekend/month (phone on-call weekly) * Hours/Week: 40 * Employment Type: Permanent * Licenses/Certifications: Active medical license, DEA, board certification preferred * Experience: Minimum 2 years inpatient psychiatry experience required PAY & BENEFITS * Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (discussed at interview) * Benefits: * Medical, dental, vision insurance * Paid time off * 401(k) plan * CME stipend * Weekly pay via direct deposit * Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) * Robust referral bonus program * Licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements when applicable WHAT YOU’LL DO * Provide inpatient psychiatric care to patients with complex mental health conditions * Manage a patient load of approximately 18 patients per day * Participate in involuntary commitments and pharmacotherapy management * Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team supporting mental health treatment * Document patient care using WellSky EMR system * Support unit operations with a focus on quality and safety WHAT YOU NEED Required: * MD or DO degree with valid medical license in Delaware * Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry * Experience with involuntary commitments and psychopharmacology * Ability to work a day shift schedule with no call on evenings/weekends Preferred: * Experience in inpatient psychiatric settings * Familiarity with WellSky EMR ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT SUN Behavioral Health Delaware is a reputable provider dedicated to mental health excellence in Georgetown.
