Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Anesthesiology - General/Other in Modesto, CA - Are you an Anesthesiology physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? Various shift options available including: * 8, 10, and 24 hour shifts * Day shifts, in-house call, weeknight and weekend on-call * Weeknight Call: 3p-7am * Weekend Call: 7a-7a * OB c-section/OB epidural: 7am-3p or 3p-7am (Sat/Sun 7a-7a) * Main OR: M-F 7a-5p (Sat/Sun 7a-5p) * Out of OR: 7a-5p * Nerve blocks: Mon-Fri 7a-5p * Job Setting: 6 Anesthesia Rooms; Epic charting system; MDs doing their own cases * Types of Cases: OB, General, Cardiac, Ortho, Neuro, Pediatrics * Pre-anesthesia assessment * Obtains and/or verifies patient consent * Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient * Induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia * Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition * Performance of clinical intervention as needed * Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department * Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures * Credentialing: 60 days; Temporary privileges available (30-60 days) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certification Required * Certifications: M.D./D.O.
