QUICK FACTS * Location: 2425 Samaritan Drive, San Jose, CA 95124 * Start Date: 05/08/2026 * Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent * Shift: 24-hour in-house coverage * ** Hours/Week:** Based on FTE arrangement (~40 hours/week) * License/Certs: Board Certified/Eligible OB-GYN required * Experience: Prior obstetrics hospitalist experience preferred * Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (hourly pay applicable) * Duration: Perm, with relocation possible * Additional Pay: $190/hour for extra clinical hours PAY & BENEFITS * Compensation: * $296,400 (0.71 FTE) + bonus incentive * $328,320 (0.780 FTE) + bonus incentive * Additional Pay: * $190/hour for additional clinical hours * Full Benefits Package includes: * Comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription) * Telehealth services (Teladoc, Second Opinion) * Disability & Life Insurance * HSA & FSA options * Parental leave benefits * Employee Assistance Program (EAP) * Fertility support (Progyny Benefits) * Identity theft protection & employee discounts * Continuing education & CME allowance * Retirement plans: 401(k) with profit-sharing, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) * Paid sick leave (40+ hours annually) WHAT YOU’LL DO * Provide 24-hour in-house OB hospitalist coverage in a maternal-fetal medicine-led setting. * Manage OB triage for unassigned and private physician patients. * Respond to and manage maternal transports (approx. 5-6/month). * Assist in cesarean sections (average 0-3 cases; assist in 1-2). * Conduct inpatient postpartum and antepartum rounding with MFM specialists. * Handle gynecologic emergency evaluations for unassigned patients. * Coordinate care within a high-acuity setting supported by a Level III NICU. * Collaborate with anesthesia, neonatology, and pediatric hospitalist teams available 24/7. * Work with a dedicated on-call GYN surgical service for gynecologic surgeries. * Deliver comprehensive obstetric care in a high-volume, multidisciplinary environment. WHAT YOU NEED * Valid OB-GYN license in California. * Board Certified or Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology. * Minimum of several years related experience preferred. * Strong clinical skills in obstetrics, gynecology, and emergency response. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital setting.
