• Call only coverage -- beeper call with 20-minute response time
• Call ratio: 1:2
• 4 - 5 phone consults, 4 - 5 patients seen, 4 - 5 admissions per call
• Inpatient only practice setting
• General CV/thoracic surgery -- open and endoscopic required
• CABG, valvular repair, aneurysm repair, lung resection, and TAVR required
• AICD placement, LVAD, bronchoscopy, and vent management required
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal
